“Organic Chemistry–I” strictly conforms the syllabus of B.Sc. Chemistry.   The material for this book has been mainly taken from our prestigious publication “Modern Organic Chemistry” by M.K. Jain and S.C. Sharma.

The important aspects of Organic Chemistry i.e., mechanism, including evidence in support of mechanism have been highlighted in boxes to improve comprehension. Special care has been taken to increase the lucidity of subject matter by using simple language and incorporating well illustrated Figures, Charts, Tables and Solved Problems, throughout the book. In keeping with our past tradition of maintaining the modernity of the subject, we have used the latest terms from present literature.
